Welcome to the Soundevotion Competition. SDCompo is a monthly module tracking competition. The competition proceeds in rounds with 3 weeks of tracking followed by 1 week of voting. A samplepack is provided at the start of each round which contains sound samples or VST instruments, etc. For information on how you can enter SDCompo, see the instructions in our Help section. Woohoo! We've passed 200,000 hits at SDCompo.com!
Thanks to each and every one of you who tracked, entered, listened, voted, commented, discussed, and participated in general in the Soundevotion Competition. We've been having fun listening to great music and improving our composing skills since March of 2006. That's over 2 years ago and we show no signs of stopping!

- Incorrect VST included in round 29 samplepack

One of the VST included in the round 29 samplepack was incorrect. The incorrect plugin was DestructFX Rez and the correct plugin is Rez by Ugo. The samplepack has been updated with the correct plugin. Please do not use DestructFX Rez in round 29.

The old flags were of various sizes so I've updated to a cleaner set of flags. If your country's flag is not correct please let me know. Thanks!
- Password issue (fixed again)

Update: Logins are working properly now. The hosting service was upgrading MySQL servers which resulted in the passworld handling getting reset (twice).
Our hosting service is doing upgrades and has botched the password handling again. I've put a ticket in about the issue and hope to have it resolved soon. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Theres some sort of hosting problem which is keeping the voting page from loading at the moment. I will check it again in the morning but if people are unable to vote we may extend the deadline.
Update 2: The voting page is back online. Please contact me if anything isn't working.
Voting has been extended another 2 days as well.
- SDCompo Now Offers MP3 / OGG File Hosting!

The folks over at LoopProject.com have generously offered to provided MP3/OGG file hosting to SDCompo users! It's now fast and easy to upload an MP3 or OGG file of your compo entry before submitting. First login, then just click on "Your File Bank" at the top right under Edit Your Profile. This will open an external link to your own personal File Manager provided by LoopProject.com.
After uploading your mp3 or ogg file, paste the resulting link into the MP3 URL field when submitting your entry. Check it out!
